Getting Healthy is a million dollar business
We are completely responsible for our health and body and the more we work on ourselves and provide our body what it needs, we become more energized and healthier.
So how can we improve our lifestyle and make ourselves healthier?
Start your day early
By waking up early, the best time is before 9 AM; you give your body a hint that today is going to be a productive day. Beside the fact that you are more productive in the morning you also have time for your morning rituals. Whether we are talking about preparing a healthy smoothie or just a glass of warm lemonade, it is a great way to start the day. Warm lemonade prepares your stomach and digestive system for the breakfast so that the food will be digested more easily.
What better way to start the day than with some cardio or stretching out. Yoga is also excellent for relaxing the body and preparing it for the stressful day that you may have ahead of you. By stretching or warming up the body, you enhance your blood flow and make yourself more effective at daily tasks. You will fell energized and ready to start the day.
Breakfast as the most important meal of the day
You first meal of the day should be as healthy as possible as it is responsible for the energy you need for the long and weary day ahead. Starting the day with a lot of fruits, vegetables, and food rich in protein like eggs, nuts or seeds will give your body all it needs to function at 100 percent. Don’t make your breakfast too big so that you cannot digest it easily, make it light but rich. So ease on the greasy food, and use a lot of green vegetables.
Antioxidant smoothies do wonders for hangovers and can be a breakfast before jogging or exercising. Red and dark colored berries like blueberries, raspberries, blackberries are full with antioxidant and are sure to rid your body of toxins and give you the energy you need. Simply mix the fruits that you have and put them in a blender, later staining the juice, or in a juicer to prepare yourself a healthy drink.
Walk instead of using local transportation
So the big day is ahead of you, and you need to get to work. Instead of using transportation, leave your car keys at home today, forget about buses and walk to your office instead of driving. You are going to spend the whole day sitting in front of a computer so you might as well stretch your legs and go to your work by foot. This way you avoid stressful traffics, and crowded busses.
